Hey Downtown Santa Cruz Employees!

If you work downtown and have been looking for more tools to rethink your commute, we’ve got great news! The GO Santa Cruz program offers all sorts of incentives to help downtown employees choose options other than driving to get to work. These include:

  • FREE transit passes
  • FREE bike locker credit
  • FREE BCycle Bike Share credit
  • Carpool incentives
  • Commute information and carpool ride matching
  • Bike safety training
  • E-bike Rebates! $400 off purchase of e-bike, $800 for low-income participants!

BONUS: the GO Santa Cruz program  rewards you for taking alternative transportation! If you bike, walk, carpool, or bus, we’ll give you great prizes just for rethinking your commute and logging your trips! We’ll also create special challenges to encourage you to try something new.

To get started, you must sign up with our online platform, Cruz511, which offers trip logging, carpool matching, transit options, and bike and walk routing.

Here’s how to get started:

·         Follow the instructions you receive and someone from the GO Santa Cruz team will deliver your transportation item to you!

Did You Know?

Santa Cruz is a national leader in reducing single-occupant car trips by supporting and promoting other means of travel. In fact, we have the second highest rate of bike commuting in the United States. Since 2011, the City of Santa Cruz has won more than $56 million in competitive grants for projects to improve biking and walking, including the Rail Trail, Branciforte Creek Bridge, Arana Gulch Multi-Use Path, and projects to improve safe routes to schools. Beat the traffic, save your gas money, get some exercise and enjoy your commute by biking, walking or taking transit for some of your daily trips.

We're here to get you there.
