The City is now accepting applications for our pilot Neighborhood Grant Program! Earlier this year, our City Council approved a one-time allocation of $25,000 to support various neighborhood improvement projects. The intent is to encourage community members to work together and create tangible projects that enhance aesthetics, improve safety and quality of life, and create community pride in their neighborhood. Winning projects will be granted up to $5,000 to make physical investments in neighborhood medians, parks, neighborhood infrastructure, art and cultural enhancements, lighting, landscaping, and environmental/ public safety projects.
Submit your application as soon as possible but before May 16, 2014. Available funding is limited and the City will start reviewing applications upon receipt. Be sure to read the Neighborhood Grant Guidelines prior to submitting an application. Applications will be considered for projects that are well-conceived, demonstrate commitment from its designers, have high community visibility and lead to modest improvements in their respective neighborhood.
Thank you for your interest in improving our neighborhoods!
