Home MenuStage 1 Irrigation Resources
The Stage 1 Water Shortage Warning is no longer in effect. Drought resources will remain available through the winter transition period. Water supply conditions will be monitored over the winter, and another shortage may be declared if necessary.
All landscape irrigation accounts have assigned water budgets regardless of stage restrictions and drought declarations. However, during a Stage 1 Water Shortage Warning these budgets are reduced.
Understanding Your Monthly Water Budget
Irrigation accounts have monthly water budgets that are determined by square footage. During the Stage 1 Water Shortage Warning these budgets will be reduced by 25%. Budget Calculator
Example:
A landscape with an area of 5000 sq.ft. would have the following budget.
If this landscape were to use 30 CCF this June, it would be billed like so...
Tier 1 Cons (100% of reduced budget) = 15 CCF x rate
Tier 2 Cons (101 – 150% of reduced budget) = 8 CCF x rate
Tier 3 Cons (151% and up of reduced budget) = 7 CCF x rate
*Infrastructure reinvestment fees would also follow this structure.
