Clam Chowder Cook-Off - Amateur Chefs

Teams of chowder chefs come from all over the West Coast to compete for the prestigious award of "Best Clam Chowder." Whip up your favorite recipe for red or white chowder or just come and sample the delicious varieties of chowder and fun at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Tasting kits go on sale on both days at 10:00 am. Tasting kits are $10.00. The event is a fundraiser for Friends of Parks and Recreation. 

NEW this year! The 36th annual Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off will be two days: Amateur chefs on Saturday, February 25th and Professional Chefs on Sunday, February 26th.
