The start of the march will take place outside of City Hall, Center St where there will be amplified sound. At the end point behind the Louden Center there will be amplified sound.
Join us as we gather at City Hall and after an inspiring send off from speakers and musicians we will march together down Pacific Avenue to our afternoon event at Louden Nelson Center.
There will be rolling street closures. Street closures are as follows from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
- Center Street between Locust & Church Streets
- Church Street between Center Street and Pacific Avenue
- Pacific Avenue between Church Street and Maple Street
- Maple Street between Pacific Avenue and Washington Street
Note: Street closure as follows on Washington St from 12 pm to 6 pm - Washington Street between Maple Street and Laurel Street (behind LNC)
At the Louden Nelson Center hear local organizations working to protect women’s rights, immigration rights, L,GBTQ, rights, and human rights share their vision of the days ahead under Trump. Learn how we as a community can support their work to help our neighbors in this time of fear and uncertainty. Hear keynote speakers on how to build unity in the days ahead as well as music, food and fun for the whole family!
There will be an open mic so we can hear ideas and comments from each other and capture our voices on video to share with our community.
We hope you will participate!
The march is free of charge and admission to the Lounden Center event is free.
