We encourage the public to join us as we stand together with victims of crime and their families. The march is an opportunity to bring awareness to the rights of victims. More specifically, the right to be recognized and represented within the criminal justice system. It is also a chance to honor victims and acknowledge the hardships endured by them and their loved ones.

Since 1981, this week has provided an opportunity for the nation to confront and remove barriers to justice for all victims of crime. Nationally, millions of people are touched by crime every year. Locally, thousands of people are impacted by crime and have their lives changed forever. These are our family, neighbors, friends and colleagues. Please join us for the march as we stand in solidarity with victims of crime in our community and recommit ourselves to advancing their rights.
