Museum of Art and History's 150th Observation of Memorial Day

Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History along with local military and veterans organizations to commemorate Santa Cruz’s 150th Memorial Day.

The Observance is held in the quiet Grand Army of the Republic plot at Evergreen Cemetery. This traditional remembrance features musical and spoken tributes from local community leaders, veterans and military including Chuck Woodson and the Defense Language Institute Active Personnel and ACWA 2nd Wisconson Infantry, Co. “H” and SVR’s 89th California Infantry Company C. The National Anthem will be sung.

After the hour-long program, enjoy a BBQ luncheon at the Portuguese Hall hosted by local veterans. Cost: $5/person.
