This is a parade, mass, and sopa festival celebrates an end to a famine in the medieval portuguese azores islands and is a celebration of portuguese culture and tradition.

This is one of the most interesting and mellowest parades and  always a favorite among tourists and locals!

The parade will go down Pacific Avenue to the Holy Cross Church and will have at least one marching band and many queens and royal courts selected by the area portuguese hall associations.
