2017 is an important year for the community to  bring visibility to this issue, as on 7/7/17,  120 member nations of the UN voted to adopt an international Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. While the US and all other nuclear-armed nations boycotted the vote, this is a historic step towards an international ban.
