Colonia Portuguesa Divino Espirto Santo, known as C.P.D.E.S. Portuguese Hall, will have its 90th Annual Holy Ghost Parade and Celebration this weekend.

Events start with a rosary at 7 p.m. Friday at the Portuguese Hall, 216 Evergreen St., led by Adelia Sequeira.

On Saturday, there will be music and dancing by Alcides Machado at 8 p.m. at the hall, with presentation of queens and exchange of crown at 9 p.m.

On Sunday the parade will form at 9 a.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Cathcart and Cedar streets, marching at 9:30 a.m. up Pacific Avenue to Holy Cross Church for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Afterward, the parade will march back to the hall for sopas and carne.

An auction and bazaar will open at 2 p.m., followed by music and dancing by Alcides Machado in the evening.
