SANTA CRUZ PLANNING DEPARTMENT SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT
The City of Santa Cruz Department of Planning and Community Development will hold a Community Meeting on policy and ordinance updates on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The meeting will begin at 6:00 P.M. in the Police Department Community Room, located at 155 Center Street, Santa Cruz.
The Planning Department has developed several policy documents and ordinance updates for community consideration. Topics include proposed changes to the city’s Cannabis Ordinance, exorbitant rent increase updates, and a new community outreach policy for development applications and Planning policy changes. Staff will also provide an update on the status of proposed State-wide ADU legislation and will seek input from the community on how to make the ADU development process easier.
The meeting is expected to last approximately one hour, and will include a brief presentation followed by break-out groups where participants can learn more and discuss the topic of their choice. For more information, please contact the City Planning Department at (831) 420.5110.
