In recognition of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Commission for the Prevention of Violence Against Women invites the community and local agencies/businesses to attend one of these workshops.

The goal of these free, interactive workshops is to raise awarness regarding sexual assault as well as provide information on how to respond effectively when necessary. While it can be difficult to do something in a frightening and difficult situation, it IS possible and can make a dramatic difference.

Although the focus of these workshops is on responding to sexual assault, the content and techniques presented are useful in dealing with other difficult issues.  Flyer
