In accordance with California State (CDPH) requirements, all persons accessing the venue must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Everyone 18 and over will be required to show proof of their vaccination or negative test with a matching photo ID. (Photo ID proof does not apply to those 17 and younger.)
Mask wearing (2 and over) will also be mandatory until further notice.

Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre presents its 19th annual production of “The Nutcracker” at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium with live orchestra! Music Director Pamela Martin conducts 52 professional musicians to bring the beloved Tchaikovsky score to life. A talented cast of local dancers, including SCBT’s pre-professional Company, is led by guest stars and SCBT alumni Melody Mennite and Lucien Postlewaite. The production is a treat which will delight young and old alike.
Seating Information:
-Orchestra seating is at floor level and may not provide the best view for small children.
-The stage is elevated.
-The live Orchestra will perform on the floor directly in front of the stage.

Babies under 1 year of age do not need a ticket if held on lap. Strollers are not allowed into the auditorium. Cameras & recorders are not allowed. Arrive Early - LATE SEATING MAY BE LIMITED. No refunds. Exchanges dependent on producer policy.
