Peace United Church and Envision Housing are collaborating to develop a single 40-unit multi-family building in the upper half of the Peace United Church property. As we all know, our town of Santa Cruz suffers tremendously from the CA housing shortage. With this project, we are aiming to do our part to create more rental housing supply and more affordable housing for the local workforce in particular. We are also designing the project for environmental sustainability, maintaining open space, lower car use, and improving the configuration of ingress/egress on the campus.  

Required Permits: Slope Permit, Planning / Design Permit, Grading Permit, Density Bonus Concession(s), Minor Land Division (converting one existing parcel into two), along with other permits typically required by the city of Santa Cruz for a project of this nature.
