Come honor the Emancipation Proclamation on June 17th at Laurel Park behind the London Nelson Community Center.

Santa Cruz, California 95060 - Introduction: Juneteenth is a special day for anyone who believes in freedom and equality for all people. Join us for amazing music, delicious soul food, craft booths, kid's activities, and a basketball skills contest.
Juneteenth is a special day for anyone who believes in freedom and equality for all people.
There will be a parade marching from the Black Lives Matter Mural in front of Santa Cruz City Hall at 809 Center Street to Laurel Park starting at 11am. Hear a brief Black Lives Matter Mural update, then begin the parade led by a brass and drum line with members of Sambada and other local musicians to the London Nelson Community Center to start the annual celebration.
