Juneteenth is a special day for anyone who believes in freedom and equality for all people.

There will be a parade marching from the Black Lives Matter Mural in front of Santa Cruz City Hall at 809 Center Street to Laurel Park starting at 11am. Hear a brief Black Lives Matter Mural update, then begin the parade led by a brass and drum line with members of Sambada and other local musicians to the London Nelson Community Center to start the annual celebration.

Join us for amazing music, delicious soul food, craft booths, kid's activities, and a basketball skills contest. This year's theme is ART!
