Commercial Demolition Authorization Permit to demolish an existing commercial building, Boundary Adjustment to merge three parcels, Design Permit, Special Use Permit, and Density Bonus Request involving incentives, concessions and waivers to development standards, including exceeding height, and a reduction in parking and open space requirements, to construct a four-story mixed-use project consisting of 1,497 square feet of ground level commercial space, and 84 residential units on a parcel located in the CC (Community Commercial) zone district and within the Eastside Business Improvement Plan Area.

Community Meetings/Webinars and Public Hearings

A community meeting is required pursuant to the City’s Community Outreach Policy for Planning Projects, and the feedback provided may contribute to alterations in the project design and additional project entitlements.

• On May 3, 2023, a virtual community meeting was held by the applicant too present the proposed mixed-use project and gather public feedback. For those who could not attend, below you will find the link to the recorded community meeting. A recording of the Community Meeting can be viewed here.
• On September 21, 2023, the item was agendized at the Planning Commission. A recording of the Planning Commission meeting can be viewed here.
• On November 28, 2023, the appeal for the project will be agendized at the regular City Council meeting. More information can be found here.
