This event builds on the history of one of California's longest-running events.  From the historic lighthouse, Santa Cruz Surfing Museum to the Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Wharf, this race features a classic California coastline course with a beach finish line.  The IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Cruz will host an Expo at Depot Park Friday & Saturday, September 8 & 9 with the race taking place on Sunday, September 10, 2023.
