ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Current proposal: Major Modification and Density Bonus request to modify an approved Zoning Permit (CP22-0092) to allow two additional stories, change in residential unit mix, and minor revisions to the approved building design, on a property located in the MU-H zone district and on Land located within the Eastside Business Improvement Area Plan.  (Environmental Review: anticipated Categorical Exemption)

Entitlements (CP22-0092) granted on February 16, 2023: Special Use Permit, Design Permit, Nonresidential Demolition Authorization Permit, Residential Demolition Authorization Permit and Lot-Line Adjustment to combine three lots, demolish existing commercial and residential buildings, and construct a four-story, 74,290 sq. ft. mixed-use building with 1,079 square feet of commercial space and 105 SRO's on a site located in the C-C (Community Commercial) zone district and within the Eastside Business Improvement Area . The project includes a request for a 50% Density Bonus to allow for 35 density bonus units (105 total) and incentives/concessions and waivers to FAR, Height, and and Setbacks, in exchange for 14 Very Low Income Units (VLI).
