The Commission for the Prevention of Violence Against Women (CPVAW) invites you to participate in an event in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2012.

Staff from Women's Crisis Support - Defensa de Mujeres (WCS-DdM), SC County's local rape crisis center, and CPVAW will place flags to raise awareness regarding the issue of sexual assault. Each flag represents a person whose life was affected by sexual assult.

Flags will be available for community members to write messages. Donations will also be accepted for WCS-DdM.
