October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The Commission for the Prevention of Violence Against Women (CPVAW) invites our community to view the clotheslines that will be held by staff of Walnut Avenue Women's Center and Women's Crisis Support-Defensa de Mujeres, local service agencies.

The clotheslines will display shirts that have been created by clients of these agencies.

Donations will be accepted. Resource information will be available. Purple pins will be distributed to wear throughout the month of October.
