Join Save Our Shores for California’s biggest volunteer effort, Coastal Cleanup Day 2015. SOS site captains will host cleanup sites at dozens of beaches, rivers, creeks, lakes, and sloughs in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. If you only do one cleanup per year, this should be the one.
See full event information, site lists, and online pre-registration at www.saveourshores.org/acc – check back every few weeks before the event starting in mid-July for all of the event information.
Save Our Shores will provide cleanup supplies but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, buckets, and a reusable water bottle in an effort to make this event as green as possible.
For general questions and questions about large groups, email cleanup@saveourshores.org after looking at www.saveourshores.org/acc
If you are interested in being a site captain (leader of a cleanup at a beach or river), please email marina@saveourshores.org .
Happy Coastal Cleanup Day!
