Special Olympics of Northern California invites the community to participate, support, and attend their 2016 POLAR PLUNGE Fundraising event at the Main Beach near the SC Beach Boardwalk/Cocoanut Grove.

All funds raised through the Polar Plunge benefit the more than 22,052 Special Olympics athletes in Northern California & Nevada! You Polar Plunge so that the Special Olympics athletes in your neighborhood can compete! Everyone deserves a chance at a happy and purposeful life. Yet people with intellectual disabilities can face doubt, barriers and low expectations. For many, Special Olympics is the only place where they find an opportunity to participate in their communities, develop belief in themselves, and feel like champions. Make athletes’ dreams come true and have a blast at the Plunge!

ADDITIONALLY, Plungers and their supporters may purchase discounted Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk all-day ride tickets for $22 to use on the day of the Polar Plunge.
