The Vernal Equinox Community Festival and Project Pollinate One Year Anniversary Celebration is a free, educational, all day family friendly event held in the beautiful setting of San Lorenzo Park in Santa Cruz, CA. Featuring aerial acrobatics by local performer Jeanette Bent and Aerial Arts Santa Cruz, the event will include 5 hours of music by local musicians, bands while showcasing local nonprofit organizations and businesses dedicated to serving the community. With guest speakers addressing issues of social inequality and the destruction of the environment, presenters will communicate their hope for the future, as well inform the community about projects that the public can get involved with. In hopes to highlight as much talent out of Santa Cruz as possible, Project Pollinate will also be including local artists showcasing their work and doing art live throughout the entire day.
