If you are looking for a good old fashioned run this is it. This is a fun, intimate event. Not super crowded and a beautiful road/trail course through a redwood forest. No timing chips, just a bunch of folks out to celebrate the holiday, have a run and enjoy a post race pancake breakfast. Medals go to the top 5 finishers in age categories broken into 5 year increments. Then there is the hill...all I can say is, it's big! This is a great race for serious and casual runners alike. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
