Permit Process
- Contact Fire Prevention for questions regarding permitting, inspections, or consults.
- Digital plans are being required for review. For more information please review our plan submittal process.
- Fire Systems Permit Application
- Contact Fire Prevention to schedule an inspection.
Plans should be submitted to our administration office and then will be reviewed by our outside plan checker. This may take up to 15 working days. We do not require an application. But we do ask that your Business License with the City of Santa Cruz and Workers Comp is current. Our permitting system will verify this information is current. Once the plan check is done, you will be notified and informed of what fees are due. If revisions are required, you will need to go through process again. Fees are not due until the review process has been completed.
