Firefighter Paramedic - Entry Level

The City of Santa Cruz is not recruiting for entry level Firefighters at this time. Do not submit an application until a recruitment is open. A job description and list of application requirements are provided to aid candidates in preparing themselves for a career as a Firefighter Paramedic.

Firefighter Paramedic Entry Level Information

For entry level recruiting, four Santa Cruz area fire agencies have formed the Santa Cruz Inter-Agency Firefighter/Paramedic Hiring Consortium (SCIFHC). Member agencies which participated in the 2017 recruitment were: Central Fire Protection District and City of Santa Cruz Fire Department. The City of Santa Cruz HR Department administers the recruitment process for the consortium.

Firefighter Paramedic - Lateral Transfer

The City of Santa Cruz is not recruiting for Firefighter Paramedic - Later Transfer at this time.  Do not submit an application until a recruitement is open.
