Project Description

On June 28, 2024, a formal application was submitted for the following:

Planned Development Permit, Coastal Permit, Design Permit, Density Bonus Request, and Heritage Tree Removal Permit for proposed construction of a new, four-story, approx. 117,900 sq. ft. multifamily educator workforce housing project including 100 residential units, approx. 127 parking spaces, new landscaping, and associated site improvements, on a site located in the PF (Public Facilities) zone district.

An Initial Study has been initiated to determine the potential environmental impacts related to the proposed project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Community Meetings/Webinars

A community meeting is required pursuant to the City’s Community Outreach Policy for Planning Projects, and the feedback provided may contribute to alterations in the project design and additional project entitlements. Meeting information will show here once available.

May 6, 2024 Community Meeting: On May 6th, 2024, a virtual community meeting was held by the applicant to present the proposed mixed-use project and gather public feedback. For those who could not attend, below you will find the link to the recorded community meeting.
