The Transportation and Public Works Commission (TPWC) advises City Council on matters including budget, design, construction, operation and maintenance of city transportation and public works projects. It also provides feedback to public works staff. The commission is one way you can have your voice heard on these issues. Comprised of 7 council-appointed community members, their job includes listening and responding to community input, and incorporating that input into its subsequent recommendations.

New: Email tpwcommissioners@santacruzca.gov to share suggestions, concerns, questions or other feedback about city transportation and public works topics!  If Commissioners cannot adequately answer your questions, they will forward your inquiry to a Public Works department staff member. Commissioner responses do not necessarily reflect City of Santa Cruz policy. Your message may be forwarded to staff to better respond to your inquiry.
