During the Water Supply Advisory Committee (WSAC) process in 2014, the Water Department hosted a series of public workshops on modeling and forecasting for water supply. The purpose for the series was to share with the public the tools that are used for modeling, analyzing and forecasting the water system's performance under various future scenarios. Workshops explored how models work, how they are used, and what their input and outputs, strengths and weaknesses are. The goal is for participants to develop a level of understanding and confidence in the modeling and forecasting tools the City uses.

The Water Department also invited the public to attend a series of Enrichment Session installments. These installments provided a supplemental source of information regarding topics and details associated with the Water Supply Advisory Committee's work.
